McLean began her career as a writer and editor, working with both consumer and trade magazines to create compelling content across print, digital and social media. Today, she and her team use those skills to help businesses design and execute digital strategy and marketing plans.
McLean has more than a decade of professional work experience, including manager of content strategy and copywriting for more than 300 worldwide clients at MICROS eCommerce, an Oracle Company, as Director of Digital for the National Sleep Foundation, where she launched the brand's first lifestyle website, Sleep.org, and its leading sleep app, Sleeplife, and Managing Editor at SourceMedia, where she covered benefits and insurance. She graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in English from Wake Forest University and summa cum laude with a Masters in Journalism from Georgetown University.
She currently resides in Vienna, Va., just outside of Washington, DC, with her husband, Nick, and Oliver, the dachshund.
